A surveillance system is the recording side of security: network video recorders, camera-and-recorder kits, and the storage and accessories that turn individual cameras into a system with retention, search, and playback. This selection covers systems from small-site kits to rack-mounted recorders for larger camera estates.
Size the recorder by channels and storage together. Channel count sets how many cameras the system can take - buy headroom, because camera counts only grow - and retention is arithmetic: cameras, resolution, and days of footage translate directly into terabytes. Confirm the recorder supports the cameras it will manage before standardizing on either side, since ecosystem fit determines how much of each camera's capability survives. Kits suit single sites; growing estates are better served by a recorder line that scales. COLAMCO quotes surveillance systems end to end - recorders, cameras, storage, switching, and mounting - for business, government, and education sites.
