Protective sleeves and sheets shield equipment as it moves through a document scanner or sits in storage: carrier sleeves that hold fragile, oversized, or damaged originals safely through a scanner's feed path, and protective sleeves that guard the scanner or its accessories when not in use. Where a document is too delicate to feed directly, a sleeve is what lets it be scanned without damage.
Match the sleeve to the exact scanner model and the document sizes it needs to carry - carrier sleeves are sized to fit a specific scanner's feed path, and a sleeve too large or too small can jam or fail to protect the original inside it. Inspect sleeves regularly for wear if scanning fragile documents routinely, since a damaged sleeve no longer protects what it carries. These are consumable accessories for any document-imaging workflow handling originals that cannot go through a feeder unprotected. COLAMCO supplies protective scanner sleeves for the document-imaging programs business, government, and education organizations run.
