The USB-C Multiport Adapter enhances video connectivity with support for up to three external monitors with resolutions up to 2x 4K (3840 x 2160p) at 30Hz and 1x 4K (3840 x 2160p) at 60Hz (Intel 11th Gen or later with DSC required for maximum performance). The Multiport Adapter features two HDMI 2.0b ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, providing the ability to choose a combination of video outputs types. The Multiport Adapter utilizes the integrated or discrete GPU capabilities of the connected laptop to enable high performance graphics with minimal CPU usage.
Video performance, such as resolution and refresh rate across all three monitors, is dependent upon the host computer's graphics processing unit (GPU). A source device with support for DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC and MST is required to achieve maximum performance.
