When a multi-item order is placed and one of the items does not qualify for free shipping (heavyweight or oversize), shipping will be charged for that line item only. Is a CPS Warranty just an extension of the existing manufacturer's warranty?
No, actually it's an upgrade to your existing manufacturer's warranty. A CPS Warranty offers benefits that aren't offered by manufacturers like accidental damage & free shipping.
What's the difference between a Replacement Plan and Repair Plan?
A Replacement Plan is available for products under $150. If the product fails, you will be reimbursed for what you paid for the product minus shipping and tax. A Repair Plan is for products over $150 and offers free repair coverage for your product any time during the life of your warranty. If we can't fix it, we'll replace it!
How am I covered?
For the Replacement Plan, your coverage provides for a one-time replacement of the covered product. For the Repair Plan, you are covered for a period of up to three years (depending on which plan you purchase). Benefits include parts and labor for required repairs on your product.
Can I transfer the Protection Plan to a new owner?
Yes! CPS Warranties are transferable between owners.
Is my product covered if it's stolen or if I lose it?
Unfortunately the CPS Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products.
Is there a deductible?
Zero dollar deductible for the Replacement Plans and the Repair Plans.
What happens if my product breaks?

If your organization is tax exempt, after completing your order you will need to email a copy of your tax exemption certificate to our Accounting Compliance team at ccsecurity@colamco.com along with your order number. We will then be able to remove the taxes from your order before your payment is finalized.

PROMISE VTrak Keep Your Drive Option allows Customers to retain possession of their failed hard drive(s) (SATA or SAS drive) when receiving replacement hard drives pursuant to a Qualified RMA. A "Qualified RMA" includes a repair and/or replacement of a defect(s) in workmanship occurring within the hardware warranty period applicable to Customer's Supported Product(s).
Keep Your Drive Option is available with PROMISE's VTrak series product. KYHD3Y option contract runs concurrently with the 3 years VTrak hardware standard limited warranty and is available at point of sale or anytime before the system experiences a hard drive failure while the system remains under limited warranty. A separate KYHD3Y contract must be purchased for each VTrak system or "chassis." (A single contract will cover all the hard drives contained within an individual VTrak chassis.) PROMISE will only replace a failing hard drive that was pre-test and shipped from PROMISE. The failed drive has to be installed and deployed in a PROMISE VTrak subsystem, excluding items purchased from other supplier or directly from the original hard drive vendor.
