This solution includes all activities necessary to bring an estimated full lifecycle carbon footprint for a single HP-branded device to zero (excluding paper). It allows organizations to demonstrate their commitment to climate action to customers, investors, employees and other stakeholders.

Benefits | Lifecycle Assessment

HP estimates the total lifecycle carbon emissions of Customer's HP-branded Device (Paper is excluded) using a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conforming to ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards.

Independent verification: LCA meeting ISO standard

HP has an appropriately qualified and recognized independent third party supporting the carbon emissions estimations.

Carbon offset

HP purchases carbon offsets from offset projects of at least an equivalent value of the total estimated carbon emissions of the customer's registered Device.

Projects support UN Sustainable Development Goals

Co-benefits of these projects include supporting UN Sustainable Development Goals such as No Poverty, Clean Water and Sanitation, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth.
