USB and DDC EDID Support
Beyond video, the extender delivers bi-directional USB data transmission for keyboards, mice, and other Human Interface Devices, including touchscreens, over the same 196-foot CAT6a connection. It also relays extended profile DDC EDID data from the display to the source, ensuring optimal video performance. Installation Flexibility
Designed for scalability, up to 16 local or remote units can be mounted in an optional rackmount chassis. For added convenience, the local unit can draw power directly from the connected PC if the requirement is under 500 mA; otherwise, an external 5VDC power supply ensures reliable operation
