Is a CPS Warranty just an extension of the existing manufacturer's warranty?
No, actually it's an upgrade to your existing manufacturer's warranty. A CPS Warranty offers benefits that aren't offered by manufacturers like accidental damage & free shipping.
What's the difference between a Replacement Plan and Repair Plan?
A Replacement Plan is available for products under $150. If the product fails, you will be reimbursed for what you paid for the product minus shipping and tax. A Repair Plan is for products over $150 and offers free repair coverage for your product any time during the life of your warranty. If we can't fix it, we'll replace it!
How am I covered?
For the Replacement Plan, your coverage provides for a one-time replacement of the covered product. For the Repair Plan, you are covered for a period of up to three years (depending on which plan you purchase). Benefits include parts and labor for required repairs on your product.
Can I transfer the Protection Plan to a new owner?
Yes! CPS Warranties are transferable between owners.
Is my product covered if it's stolen or if I lose it?
Unfortunately the CPS Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products.
Is there a deductible?
Zero dollar deductible for the Replacement Plans and the Repair Plans.
What happens if my product breaks?

Copper and/or fiber switch. You can use the Device as a copper/fiber or all copper switch. The versatility is in the SFP slots. As a copper/fiber switch, you can have two 10-/100-/1000-Mbps copper ports and two autosensing 100-/1000-Mbps fiber SFP ports. But the SFPs also support 10-/100-10000-Mbps copper operation. So if you insert two copper SFPs, you will have an entirely copper switch.Double-duty media conversion. For more application diversity, the device gives you media conversion flexibility for distance extension. You can install it as a dual copper/fiber media converter then use it as two independent converters, saving a bundle in equipment costs.
Double-duty mode conversion with redundant 1+1 protection. You can deploy this Device as a 4-port device with fiber redundancy. And it gives you two different mode conversions to choose from 1+1 Non-Revertive and 1+1 Revertive. Both relate to how the box responds if a primary link fails. In Non-Revertive mode, the box will continue to use the backup fiber link after the failure on the primary link has been fixed. In Revertive mode, the box will revert to the primary link.
