Is a CPS Warranty just an extension of the existing manufacturer's warranty?
No, actually it's an upgrade to your existing manufacturer's warranty. A CPS Warranty offers benefits that aren't offered by manufacturers like accidental damage & free shipping.
What's the difference between a Replacement Plan and Repair Plan?
A Replacement Plan is available for products under $150. If the product fails, you will be reimbursed for what you paid for the product minus shipping and tax. A Repair Plan is for products over $150 and offers free repair coverage for your product any time during the life of your warranty. If we can't fix it, we'll replace it!
How am I covered?
For the Replacement Plan, your coverage provides for a one-time replacement of the covered product. For the Repair Plan, you are covered for a period of up to three years (depending on which plan you purchase). Benefits include parts and labor for required repairs on your product.
Can I transfer the Protection Plan to a new owner?
Yes! CPS Warranties are transferable between owners.
Is my product covered if it's stolen or if I lose it?
Unfortunately the CPS Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products.
Is there a deductible?
Zero dollar deductible for the Replacement Plans and the Repair Plans.
What happens if my product breaks?

If your organization is tax exempt, after completing your order you will need to email a copy of your tax exemption certificate to our Accounting Compliance team at ccsecurity@colamco.com along with your order number. The Dry Contact sensor is a simple connection to burglar alarms, fire alarms or any application that requires monitoring by the sensorProbe. Dry contact sensors are user definable and can be used to detect many different inputs such as UPS status, security systems, air conditioning status.This product works with all ServSensor Hubs as part of the AlertWerks II environmental monitoring system.These general purpose switches can be either input or output. When used as an output it can source up to 20 mA. You can select the output voltage by setting the Output Level to a Low or a High. When set to Low the pin will output 0 volts. When set as a High the pin will output 5 volts.When used as an input a switch will retain any error condition until it is read via SNMP. Therefore if a switch encounters a critical condition at any time it must report that condition before it can return to a normal state.Input pins can be used to detect whether or not an input switch is open or closed. In combination with external sensors, input pins can detect whether a door or window is open or closed, if there is a water incursion and many other conditions.The intelligent Dry Contact Sensors feature one dry-contact input per RJ-45 port on the ServSensor Hub. An open/closed contact switch indicates Alarm or Normal. The input voltage range of 0 to 5 VDC can be set through software. Also normally open / normally closed can be set through software.
