Some manufacturers prohibit the return of certain products and we will do our best to work with those manufacturers to get your item returned.

 Shipping & Returns


 Free Shipping

FREE Shipping will apply to orders of $100 or more when placed on COLAMCO.com. FREE shipping on IT equipment applies to UPS and FedEx Ground orders only. IT equipment shipping orders with special shipping requirements will be charged freight.  

COLAMCO free shipping may not apply to heavyweight or oversize products. When a multi-line order is placed and one of the items does not qualify for free shipping (heavyweight or oversize), shipping will be charged for that line item only. Shipping will not be charged for all other line items providing the minimum order threshold is met and the default ground carrier is selected. 

Special shipping requirements include Next Day, Overnight or 2-Day Service. The FREE Shipping offer is not valid on paper products and oversized orders. FREE Shipping applies to orders shipped within the continental United States only. FREE Shipping does not apply to orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. All orders are processed and shipped during normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Please note some restrictions may still apply.  Shipping

At COLAMCO, you have the choice of shipping via ground, two day, three day, and next day delivery. Shipping costs are calculated using the total weight of the items in your order and the cost is quoted at the time of your order. Please note that at the present time, we will only accept orders for shipment within the USA.

For customers within the Continental USA

Orders placed and credit released before 3:00PM EST will ship the same day (excluding weekends and holidays). Orders placed after 3:00PM EST will ship the next business day (excluding weekends and holidays). For fast delivery, COLAMCO always ships from the warehouse closest to you that has the ordered items in stock. This enables your order to arrive via ground in 1-3 business days. If your order is shipped across the country, ground service can take up to 7 business days. Due to shipping restrictions, we cannot deliver to APO, FPO, PSC or PO Boxes.

  • You may check the status and track your order by calling or emailing COLAMCO customer service.
  • Some packages will require a signature according to the driver's discretion
  • If part of your order has shipped, then there is no refund on the shipping cost for the order.
  • Shipments to AK, HI (Alaska and Hawaii) have their own shipping methods and are not eligible for the free freight offer.
  • Shipments to VI, GU, PR (Virgin Islands, Guam, and Puerto Rico) will be sent via air service. These Shipments are not eligible for the free freight offer.

 For customers outside the Continental USA


At this time, COLAMCO does not accept international orders. We define it as an international order when the order is to ship to an address outside the 50 United States, the credit card used to pay for the order has a billing address outside the 50 United States, or the credit card was not issued in the United States, regardless of the shipping destination. Please note that COLAMCO Inc. will not be liable for any damage, loss, customs paperwork or tax, duties, or fees incurred by the transport of the product to any international destination.


 Electronic Delivery


Items purchased through electronic delivery have an unlimited inventory and will be available once your order has been submitted and approved. Any additional documentation that is a part of electronic delivery will be emailed to the purchasing email account on record.   Note: Electronic delivery purchases are non-refundable.

 

Returns

No returns will be accepted without prior authorization and a valid COLAMCO Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers issued by COLAMCO are good for 20 business days only, and COLAMCO must receive product within that time. RMA numbers cannot be extended or re-issued. Clearly mark each address label of each package being returned with the RMA number. DO NOT WRITE ON THE MANUFACTURER'S BOX. All COLAMCO Return Policies are as stated herein, unless otherwise governed by manufacturer policy as stated below, and are subject to change without prior notice.

 Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Information

Please follow the instructions below to obtain an RMA number:

When requesting an RMA, please provide the following information:

  • Identify whether the product is opened or still factory sealed

 Product Returns

If you are having problems with the installation of the product you have purchased from us, or have any technical questions regarding your product, please contact our Technical Support Department via email at cnsd@COLAMCO.com

All returns to COLAMCO must be made with in the first 30 days of invoice. After 30 days, all returns caused by warranty issues must be made directly with the product manufacturer. No other type of return will be authorized after the thirty days have passed.

Defective and dead on arrival (DOA) products must be reported to Customer Service within 30 days of shipment. All order discrepancies such as shortages, mislabeled product or overages must be reported within five (5) days.

All returns for credit or exchanges must be 100% complete, contain all original boxes and packing material, items must be in new condition, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer's boxes, and contain all blank warranty cards, accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Returns with manufacturers’ boxes that are damaged or written on and/or are incomplete may be returned to sender or subject to a restocking fee of 20% or more, depending on the condition of the return.

COLAMCO will not issue return authorizations for the following:

  • Special Order Items
  • Items not purchased from COLAMCO
  • Discontinued Items
  • Items for credit in an unsuitable for-resale condition
  • Open memory and software-- except for exchange of defective where applicable
  • Downloadable software
  • Configured items
  • Special order items
  • Products with unreadable serial numbers
  • Any product for which you have submitted a mail in rebate
  • Combo, bundle, and kits items
  • Quantities of 10 or more
  • Customer owned - COLAMCO warehoused products, unless within the normal return periods for the particular items.
 Non-Defective Product Returns

If the product that you received is not what you ordered (Shipping Errors), COLAMCO will issue a UPS call tag to pick the product up.  Please insure that all items are 100% complete, contain all original boxes and packing material, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer's boxes, and contain all blank warranty cards, accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer.

All items that are not damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped must be FACTORY SEALED in new condition, and must include original packaging with all manuals, accessories and warranty cards unmarked. Incomplete product returns will not be accepted.

If the product you ordered is not what you wanted and it has not been more than 20 days from invoice, we will issue an RMA for the product. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for freight back to COLAMCO, and the product has to be in the resalable condition listed above. All these returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and are limited by the manufacturer's exceptions listed below. Please make sure that you insure it when you ship the product, since you are responsible for the product if it is damaged in transit.

COLAMCO does not accept returns for non-defective CPU and Memory products. We will provide a credit or replacement only for defective CPU and Memory products.

 Defective Product Returns

If your product is damaged upon delivery, please refuse the order to the shipper and report it to customer service. If you accept the package, please make sure that the freight company's delivery record is noted with the damage in order for COLAMCO to file a claim. Save product and all packaging, and inform COLAMCO customer service immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pickup of the damaged product.

All defective product must be processed with COLAMCO within 30 days of shipment. After 30 days, all warranty claims must be made directly with the manufacturer.

Certain opened items carry restrictions regarding returns: All toner cartridges, business machines (cameras, printers, fax machines, computers, monitors, calculators, recorders, projectors) and consumable products (toner bottles, cleaning supplies, paper, ink cartridges) that have been opened may only be returned if there is a manufacturer defect. Most manufacturers do not allow opened, non-defective items to be returned for credit.

Exceptions to Product Returns
Due to manufacturer’s policies, COLAMCO cannot accept returns for some products.  COLAMCO reserves the right to add special return conditions for reasons including, but not limited to manufacturer policy changes, manufacturer corporate changes, specially-obtained product and others not listed here.
