A/V control panels put a room's audio-visual system behind one predictable interface: wall-mounted button panels that start the projector and pick the source, room controllers that drive displays, screens, and audio over a single control system, and the compact panels that make a conference room usable by someone who has never seen it before. The measure of a control panel is whether a meeting starts without a call to IT.
Choose by the equipment it must command: the panel's control method - IR, serial, or network - has to match the displays and switchers in the room, and the button count should map to the real sources, not the theoretical ones. Standardizing one panel layout across rooms is worth more than any single feature, because staff learn the room once. Installation is part of the purchase; plan cabling and programming time with the hardware. COLAMCO quotes room control panels with the projectors, displays, and switching they orchestrate for business, government, and education facilities.
